Shodoshima Camera | Shodoshima Town, Shodo District, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan
Shodoshima, floating in the Seto Inland Sea, is blessed with rich nature and food culture, but also faces the challenge of an aging population. "Shodoshima Camera" is an initiative where members living on the island share the charm of their daily lives through photography.
OM Digital Solutions participated in this activity, supporting expression and communication through cameras. By collaborating with local residents, we visualize the value of daily life and expand empathy. Inspired by photography, we have increased the number of people who take an interest in Shodoshima, visit, and continue to engage with it, contributing to the sustainable enhancement of the region's value.
Nagahama Local Photo (Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture)
While Nagahama City in Shiga Prefecture is alive with its history, culture, and local industries, it is also required to learn how to pass on the region's charm to the next generation. "Nagahama Local Photo" is an initiative where members involved in the community share daily life, people's activities, and the charm of the town through photography.
OM Digital Solutions participated in this activity, supporting expression and communication through cameras. Taiheiyo Shashin Gakko - Kitakami (Kitakami-cho, Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture)
"Taiheiyo Shashin Gakko - Kitakami," which began in 1997 as part of the former Kitakami Town's revitalization efforts, resumed after a hiatus due to the Great East Japan Earthquake and has been passed down as a photography school that conveys the charm of the region's nature and people. OM Digital Solutions supports activities at this school by providing filming equipment and collaborating in operational aspects. By enhancing the quality of photography experiences, participants are encouraged to learn and discover, creating opportunities to deepen understanding and attachment to the community.

OM Digital Solutions has signed a partnership agreement with Izumi City to offer wild bird photography experiences and photo contests that utilize the local resource of the crane's wintering grounds. Participants engage with nature and deepen their understanding of the local charm and environment through experiences of "seeing, feeling, and photographing."

OM Digital Solutions participates as a partner brand in the Hakone nature experience project "HAKONATURE," promoted by Odakyu Electric Railway. Centered around the base facility "HAKONATURE BASE," we offer experiences of "seeing, feeling, and photographing" in nature through photography events and seminars. Through these initiatives, we are conveying the charm of Hakone's rich natural environment and contributing to the creation of new connections between people, nature, and the local community.
